Short explanation
AIOHTTP contains a vulnerability where Max-Age processing overflows and skips closing connections, affecting versions prior to 3.14.4.
This vulnerability allows attackers to temporarily exhaust the connection pool, potentially leading to service disruption.
What should be done?
- Upgrade to version 3.14.4 or later
- Follow vendor security advisories
Chain of evidence and sources
3.14.4 sürümünden önceki aiohttp sürümlerinde Max-Age işleme aşamasında taşma meydana gelebilir.
Saldırganlar bu durumu kullanarak bağlantı havuzunu geçici olarak tüketebilir.
Show the technical text from the sources
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to 3.14.4, Max-Age processing can overflow and skip closing a connection. An attacker can consequently exhaust the connection pool temporarily until garbage collection resolves the connections. This issue is fixed in version 3.14.4.
