Short explanation
A SQL injection vulnerability affects WeGIA prior to version 3.8.6 for authenticated users with access to the Material & Patrimônio module. By passing raw input through parameters, attackers can execute arbitrary SQL statements.
This flaw allows authenticated attackers to extract sensitive database records or modify institutional and inventory data, presenting a high security risk.
What should be done?
- Upgrade the software to version 3.8.6 or later
- Follow the vendor advisory if patching is not immediately possible
Chain of evidence and sources
WeGIA ürününün 3.8.6 sürümünden öncesinde SQL enjeksiyonu zafiyeti bulunmaktadır.
Zafiyet, extract($_REQUEST) fonksiyonunun intval() ile yapılan temizleme işlemini ezmesiyle oluşur.
Show the technical text from the sources
WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, an authenticated user with access to the Material & Patrimônio module can submit id_produto to web/html/matPat/restaurar_produto_desocultar.php, where a second extract($_REQUEST) overwrites the value previously sanitized by intval(). The raw value is interpolated into UPDATE statements for the produto, isaida, and ientrada tables. An attacker can execute arbitrary SQL to extract sensitive database records or modify institutional and inventory data. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6.
