Short explanation

CVE-2026-106465 is a high-severity network-based vulnerability in Eclipse Foundation NetX Duo where the NetX Secure DTLS server fails to validate client-returned cookies.

Why does it matter?

This vulnerability allows peers to bypass the verification exchange entirely and complete handshakes for forged source addresses, potentially leading to service disruption.

What should be done?

  • Follow the vendor advisory
  • Update affected versions
  • Review security notices
Chain of evidence and sources2 verified claims

NetX Secure DTLS sunucusu, istemci tarafından döndürülen çerezleri kontrol etmemektedir.

Herhangi bir tekil çerez baytı ekleyen bir eş, doğrulama değişimini tamamen atlamaktadır.

Show the technical text from the sources

The NetX Secure DTLS server sends a HelloVerifyRequest carrying a freshly generated cookie, but never checks the cookie a client returns. The ClientHello parser copies the client's cookie bytes over the value the server issued, and the server then decides whether the client has been verified from the cookie's length alone. A peer that puts any single cookie byte in its first ClientHello skips the verification exchange entirely, so the server has no return-routability check and completes handshakes for forged source addresses.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
