Short explanation
A vulnerability in NoMachine allows local attackers to escalate privileges due to insufficient entropy in the Redis authentication mechanism.
This security flaw enables a low-privileged local attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the service account, leading to severe impact.
What should be done?
- Follow vendor advisory guidance
- Strengthen local access controls
- Monitor for updates and patch availability
Chain of evidence and sources
CVE-2026-92209, NoMachine içinde Redis kimlik doğrulama mekanizmasındaki yetersiz entropiden kaynaklanan bir yerel yetki yükseltme zafiyetidir.
Saldırganın bu zafiyeti istismar edebilmesi için öncelikle hedef sistemde düşük yetkili kod çalıştırma yeteneği elde etmesi gerekmektedir.
