Short explanation

Control Web Panel (CWP) versions prior to 1.30 contain a blind SQL injection vulnerability within an unauthenticated loopback API route, where the 'user' parameter is directly interpolated into a query.

Why does it matter?

Attackers can exploit this flaw to perform time-based blind SQL injection and extract arbitrary database contents.

What should be done?

  • Follow vendor advisories to apply updates
  • Upgrade Control Web Panel to version 1.30 or later
Chain of evidence and sources2 verified claims

Control Web Panel (CWP) 1.30 öncesi sürümleri korumasız bir döngüsel API rotasında kör SQL enjeksiyonu barındırır.

'user' parametresi oauth_clients tablosuna doğrudan sorgulanmaktadır.

Show the technical text from the sources

Control Web Panel (CWP) before webpanel_version 1.30 contains a blind SQL injection vulnerability in an unauthenticated loopback API route that connects to MySQL as root, where the 'user' parameter is interpolated directly into a query against the oauth_clients table. Attackers can send crafted requests to the unauthenticated route (originally /user_panel_dashboard/, later /valid_token/) to perform time-based blind SQL injection and extract arbitrary database contents.
