Short explanation

When the vSolution Matrix feature is enabled on WolfVision Cynap Pro and Cynap Core Pro devices, current screen content may be made available through an unauthenticated and unencrypted RTSP/RTP stream to hosts on the same network segment [S0]. This vulnerability carries a high severity rating [S0].

Why does it matter?

An unauthenticated host on the same network segment can view or capture presentation content, leading to a potential confidentiality breach [S0].

What should be done?

  • Follow the vendor security advisory [S0]
  • Restrict network segment access [S0]
  • Review the vSolution Matrix feature [S0]

Show the technical text from the sources

When the vSolution Matrix feature is enabled, affected devices may make current screen content available through an unauthenticated RTSP/RTP stream to hosts on the same network segment. The stream is not encrypted, which may allow an unauthenticated host to view or capture presentation content where network access is not otherwise restricted. This vulnerability only affects devices with the vSolution Matrix feature enabled.
