Short explanation

HashiCorp Boundary and Boundary Enterprise contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Vault credential store integration. An authenticated user can cause the Boundary controller to issue outbound requests to chosen network destinations.

Why does it matter?

This vulnerability may expose endpoints reachable only from the controller host, such as cloud instance metadata services, potentially leading to unauthorized data exposure.

What should be done?

  • Upgrade Boundary Enterprise to version 1.0.2 or 0.21.6
  • Follow vendor advisories
  • Review administrative permissions
Chain of evidence and sources2 verified claims

Zafiyet CVE-2026-13303, Boundary Enterprise 1.0.2 ve 0.21.6 sürümlerinde giderilmiştir.

Show the technical text from the sources

HashiCorp Boundary and Boundary Enterprise are vulnerable to a server-side request forgery in the Vault credential store integration that may allow an authenticated user with permission to manage credential stores and credential libraries within a project to cause the Boundary controller to issue outbound requests to a network destination of the requester's choosing and to receive the response. This may expose endpoints reachable only from the controller's host, such as a cloud instance metadata service. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-13303, is fixed in Boundary Enterprise 1.0.2 and 0.21.6.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
