Short explanation

Froxlor from version 0.10.0 before 2.3.15 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the SubDomains.delete API command. Authenticated customers can delete reseller-provisioned main domains and manipulate usage metrics to gain extra subdomain allowance.

Why does it matter?

It allows authenticated users to bypass web UI restrictions, delete critical domain and DNS records, and abuse resource quotas.

What should be done?

  • Update Froxlor to version 2.3.15 or later
  • Review vendor advisory documents and patch references
