Short explanation
Finsys Dockhand through version 1.0.18 contains an LDAP injection vulnerability in the tryLdapAuth function that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate usernames.
Unauthenticated attackers can bypass rate limiting mechanisms to identify valid LDAP usernames and gather intelligence for targeted follow-up attacks.
What should be done?
- Follow vendor security advisories and advisories from Finsys
- Upgrade Dockhand to an unaffected version

Chain of evidence and sources
Finsys Dockhand 1.0.18 ve öncesi sürümlerde bulunan tryLdapAuth fonksiyonu, LDAP arama filtresine joker karakterleri kaçırmadan kullanıcı adını eklemektedir.
Kimliği doğrulanmamış saldırganlar /api/auth/login adresine joker desenleri göndererek ve yanıt sürelerini ölçerek geçerli LDAP kullanıcı adlarını numaralandırabilir.
Show the technical text from the sources
Finsys Dockhand through 1.0.18 contains an LDAP injection vulnerability in the tryLdapAuth function in src/lib/server/auth.ts, which inserts the login username into the LDAP search filter without escaping wildcard characters. Unauthenticated attackers can submit incremental wildcard patterns such as 'a*' to /api/auth/login and measure response timing to enumerate valid LDAP usernames while evading per-username rate limiting.
