Short explanation
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Finsys Dockhand before version 1.0.45 allows authenticated attackers to bypass IPv6 transition ranges and reach internal services.
Authenticated attackers can embed loopback, cloud metadata, or private IPv4 addresses within transition IPv6 literals by abusing NAT64, 6to4, and Teredo ranges, potentially exposing internal infrastructure.
What should be done?
- Update Finsys Dockhand to the latest version
- Follow vendor advisories
- Monitor URL parameters for suspicious patterns

Chain of evidence and sources
Finsys Dockhand 1.0.45 öncesi sürümlerde ipCategory fonksiyonu IPv6 geçiş aralıklarını kontrol edemez.
Kimliği doğrulanmış saldırganlar NAT64, 6to4 ve Teredo geçiş IPv6 literalleriyle dahili servislere erişebilir.
Show the technical text from the sources
Finsys Dockhand before 1.0.45 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the ipCategory() function in src/lib/server/url-safety.ts, which fails to check NAT64, 6to4, and Teredo IPv6 transition ranges. Authenticated attackers can embed loopback, cloud metadata, or private IPv4 addresses in transition IPv6 literals within notification, backup, template, registry, git, or secret provider URLs to reach internal services.
