Short explanation
Some Moxa industrial computing products contain a missing authorization flaw in the internal API `/api/v1/secrets/`. A low‑privileged authenticated attacker with adjacent network access can exploit this endpoint to read confidential data and cryptographic keys.
Unauthorized data access can expose sensitive configurations and encryption keys, jeopardizing system confidentiality and integrity.
What should be done?
- Monitor the vendor security advisory
- Apply a patch when released
- Restrict network access to the internal API
- Strengthen authorization checks
- Segment critical systems to isolate them
Chain of evidence and sources
CVE-2026-109812, Moxa'nun bazı ürünlerinde `/api/v1/secrets/` iç API'sinde yetkilendirme eksikliği içerir.
Bu açık, düşük ayrıcalıklı kimliği doğrulanmış bir saldırganın bitişik ağ üzerinden erişim sağlaması durumunda gerçekleşebilir.
CVE‑2026‑109812 için aktif istismar raporlanmamıştır.
Resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı; yama mevcut olup olmadığı belirsizdir.
