Short explanation
Znuny through 7.3.6 concatenates the user‑supplied ContentSearch parameter directly into an SQL query without sanitization, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL commands.
Exploitation can lead to data theft, data modification, and denial‑of‑service.
What should be done?
- Follow the vendor advisory; patches not yet verified (S0)
- Implement input validation and use parameterized queries (S0)
- Monitor affected systems and log abnormal SQL activity (S0)
Chain of evidence and sources
CVE-2026-93484, Znuny’da ContentSearch parametresi üzerinden SQL injection (istismar) içerir.
Etkilenen sürümler: 0 < 6.5.25 ve 7.0.0 < 7.3.7.
CVE, CISA KEV listesinde yer almıyor; aktif istismar kanıtı yok.
Show the technical text from the sources
Znuny through 7.3.6 constructs a ticket-search database query by directly concatenating user-supplied input into the SQL statement. This lack of proper sanitization or the use of parameterized queries allows an attacker to inject arbitrary SQL commands, leading to data theft, modification, or denial of service. Specifically this is in Kernel::System::Ticket::TicketSearch and Kernel::System::Ticket::ArticleSearchIndex::DB via the ContentSearch parameter. The parameter is expected to be either "AND" or "OR", but its value was concatenated directly into the generated SQL query without validation.
