Short explanation

Omnispace Agora Project versions before 26.10.0 contain a path traversal vulnerability via the tmpFolderName parameter [S0]. This flaw allows attackers to write arbitrary files outside intended temporary directories [S0].

Why does it matter?

Authenticated attackers can exploit this flaw to achieve remote code execution and compromise system integrity [S0].

What should be done?

  • Follow vendor advisory [S0]
  • Update to version 26.10.0 or later [S0]

Saldırganlar tmpFolderName parametresini kullanarak uzaktan kod çalıştırabilir [S0].

Show the technical text from the sources

Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows attackers to write arbitrary files outside the intended temporary directory by supplying an unanchored tmpFolderName value in the upload destination path. Attackers can exploit this flaw, for example by setting tmpFolderName to a traversal sequence targeting the web root, to write attacker-controlled files and achieve remote code execution.
