Short explanation
EspoCRM contains an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability due to unsafe PHP object deserialization in MassAction or Export parameters.
This vulnerability allows an authenticated attacker to achieve remote code execution on the server, posing a critical severity risk.
What should be done?
- Upgrading to version 9.3.7 or later
- Following the vendor advisory and updates
Chain of evidence and sources
EspoCRM, 9.3.7 öncesi sürümlerde MassAction veya Export parametrelerinde güvensiz PHP nesnesi seri durumdan çıkarma açığı barındırır.
Açık, kimliği doğrulanmış bir yöneticinin sunucuda rastgele kod yürütmesine olanak tanır.
Show the technical text from the sources
EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to 9.3.7, an authenticated administrator can supply crafted serialized PHP object data that is stored in background MassAction or Export parameters and later deserialized by the application. The deserialization paths do not restrict allowed classes, allowing attacker-controlled object instantiation and arbitrary code execution on the server. This issue is fixed in version 9.3.7.
