Short explanation

A high-severity vulnerability exists in Tata Motors iRA 2.0 and iRA.ev mobile applications due to hardcoded service account credentials, API keys, and authorization tokens within the application package (S0).

Why does it matter?

It allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to download the application package, extract embedded sensitive information, gain unauthorized access to associated backend services, and perform unauthorized operations (S0).

What should be done?

  • Follow vendor security advisories (S0)
  • Keep application packages updated (S1)
  • Remove hardcoded credentials from the codebase (S0)
Note on uncertainty

The sources give limited detail on some technical conditions. Review the chain of evidence below before deciding how to act.

Show the technical text from the sources

This vulnerability exists in the iRA 2.0 and iRA.ev mobile applications due to presence of hardcoded service account credentials, API Keys and authorization tokens within the application package. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by downloading application package and extracting embedded sensitive information. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized access to associated backend services and potentially access sensitive information or perform unauthorized operations on the targeted system.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
