Short explanation

Mythic versions 3.2.16 through 3.4.0.61 contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers controlling target endpoint files to run JavaScript.

Why does it matter?

The flaw leads to the theft of JWT tokens when operators preview downloaded files, granting full access to GraphQL and REST interfaces.

What should be done?

  • Apply the provided patch reference or fixed version
  • Follow vendor advisories and updates
  • Review security controls for media preview functionality
Chain of evidence and sources2 verified claims

Mythic 3.2.16 ile 3.4.0.61 sürümleri, .pdf uzantılı dosyalara HTML yerleştirilmesiyle tetiklenen depolanan XSS açığı barındırır.

Operatör dosyayı indirip medya önizlemesine tıkladığında, aynı kökende çalışan HTML üzerinden JWT token'ları çalınabilir.

Show the technical text from the sources

Mythic 3.2.16 through 3.4.0.61 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers controlling target endpoint files to run JavaScript in the Mythic UI origin by planting HTML in .pdf-named files. When an operator downloads the file and clicks Preview Media, content-sniffed HTML from /direct/view renders same-origin, stealing localStorage JWTs for full GraphQL and REST access.
