Short explanation
The LifterLMS plugin versions up to and including 10.3.2 contain a stored XSS flaw that allows an authenticated subscriber‑level or higher attacker to inject malicious script via the 'answer[]' parameter.
The injected script runs in an administrator’s browser, enabling session hijacking and privilege escalation.
What should be done?
- Apply the vendor‑issued patch when it becomes available
- Revise code to enforce proper input validation and output escaping
- Enable a web application firewall with XSS protection
- Review and limit privileges of subscriber‑level accounts
- Log and monitor for suspicious script injection attempts
- Maintain up‑to‑date backups and monitoring solutions
The sources give limited detail on some technical conditions. Review the chain of evidence below before deciding how to act.

Show the technical text from the sources
The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'answer[]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 10.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker to be enrolled as a student in a course containing a Content-type quiz question; the injected payload executes in the administrator's browser session during the normal grading workflow when 'Start a Review' is clicked on the affected attempt.
