Short explanation
Bricks Theme 2.4.3 and earlier contain an unauthenticated dynamic-data tag injection vulnerability. Anonymous attackers can control the urlParams object in the query_result REST endpoint, leading to sensitive data leakage.
This vulnerability allows attackers to leak post meta and author user records, including password hashes, without requiring any authentication.
What should be done?
- Follow official vendor advisories
- Apply updates or patches as available
- Restrict REST endpoint access to minimize attack surface
