Short explanation

JavaScript or TypeScript custom authentication Store authorization handlers in langgraph-api can return a rewritten namespace that is not carried across the runtime boundary [S0]. This allows an authenticated user to access another user's Store namespace in deployments relying on namespace rewriting for isolation [S0].

Why does it matter?

It enables unauthorized reads, overwrites, searches, or deletions, compromising user data confidentiality and integrity [S0].

What should be done?

  • Follow the vendor advisory [S0].
  • Update the software to version 0.15.0 or later [S0].
Chain of evidence and sources2 verified claims

langgraph-api sürümleri 0.1.2 ile 0.15.0 arasını etkiler [S0].

Sorun 0.15.0 sürümünde giderilmiştir [S0].

Show the technical text from the sources

langgraph-api implements the LangGraph API for rapid development and testing. From 0.1.2 until 0.15.0, JavaScript or TypeScript custom authentication Store authorization handlers can return a rewritten namespace that is not carried across the runtime boundary and applied before the Store operation. An authenticated user can therefore access another user's Store namespace when a deployment relies on namespace rewriting for isolation, allowing unauthorized reads, overwrites, searches, or deletions. Python custom authentication and handlers that reject unauthorized namespaces instead of rewriting them are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.15.0.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
