Short explanation
CVE-2026-116067 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting Paisa versions prior to 0.7.8. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit the GetFile, GetSheet, DeleteBackups, and DeleteSheetBackups handlers to read arbitrary server-readable files and delete backups using ../ sequences.
This unauthenticated vulnerability allows remote attackers to access sensitive files and remove backups. Due to its high severity and available patches, immediate remediation is required.
What should be done?
- Upgrade Paisa to version 0.7.8 or later
- Review vendor patch references to apply fixes
- Follow vendor advisories for updates

Chain of evidence and sources
0.7.8 öncesi Paisa sürümleri, GetFile, GetSheet, DeleteBackups ve DeleteSheetBackups işleyicilerinde path traversal açığı barındırmaktadır.
Kimliği doğrulanmamış saldırganlar, dosya adları içindeki ../ dizilerini kullanarak hassas dosyaları okuyabilir ve yedekleri silebilir.
Show the technical text from the sources
Paisa before 0.7.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the GetFile, GetSheet, DeleteBackups, and DeleteSheetBackups handlers that lets unauthenticated attackers read files and delete backups through ../ sequences in file names. Attackers can send crafted names to the editor file and delete_backups endpoints to read any server-readable file and remove backup files outside the journal or sheets directory.
