Short explanation
The Kubio AI Page Builder plugin versions up to 2.9.4 allow a subscriber‑level (or higher) user to store a malicious script in a product review. The payload executes once the review is approved and the single‑product template renders a Kubio‑generated wp:post‑content block. (S0)
Stored XSS enables an attacker to run arbitrary code in victims’ browsers, leading to session theft, credential harvesting, or malicious redirects. (S0)
What should be done?
- Monitor and purge malicious product reviews promptly
- Limit review submissions to trusted accounts or enforce manual moderation
- Apply vendor‑issued patch when available; follow official advisory
- Enforce server‑side input validation and output encoding for review fields
- Consider disabling the kubio/shortcode block in product templates until a fix is released
Chain of evidence and sources
Bu güvenlik açığı, abonelik seviyesindeki (Subscriber+) bir kullanıcının ürün incelemesine zararlı script eklemesine ve onaylandığında sayfalarda çalıştırmasına izin verir. (S0)

Show the technical text from the sources
The Kubio AI Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (review body)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the attacker's review containing the payload to be approved, either automatically (due to a previously approved review from the same account) or manually by an administrator, and the active single-product template must use a Kubio-rendered wp:post-content block.
