Short explanation
CVE-2026-115419 stems from insufficient session isolation in the Amazon Strands Agents SDK A2A server component. Authenticated remote users can read other tenants' conversation history and add persistent instructions that alter model behavior by using a different context_id.
This vulnerability allows unauthorized users to access other tenants' data and persistently manipulate model behavior. Due to its high CVSS score and impact on confidentiality and integrity, prompt remediation is required.
What should be done?
- Upgrade strands-agents to version 1.43.0 or later for Python
- Upgrade @strands-agents/sdk to version 1.5.0 or later for TypeScript
- Follow vendor security bulletins and advisories
Chain of evidence and sources
Amazon Strands Agents SDK for Python 1.43.0 öncesi ve TypeScript 1.5.0 öncesi sürümleri etkiler.
Show the technical text from the sources
The A2A server component in Amazon Strands Agents SDK for Python before 1.43.0 and Amazon Strands Agents SDK for TypeScript before 1.5.0 does not properly isolate conversation state between callers. An authenticated remote user could read other tenants' conversation history and add persistent instructions that alter model behavior for subsequent callers via HTTP requests to the A2A endpoint using a different context_id. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to strands-agents 1.43.0 (Python) or @strands-agents/sdk 1.5.0 (TypeScript).
