Short explanation
A TLS configuration bypass vulnerability exists in Traefik due to improper keying of NTLM or Kerberos backend slots.
An unauthenticated attacker can bypass TLS certificate validation and server name checks for another service over keep-alive connections.
What should be done?
- Follow the vendor advisories from Traefik
- Apply available updates for affected versions
- Review ServersTransport configurations
2 alanda kaynak uyuşmazlığı var. DayBreach bu değerleri saklamadı; kaynak karşılaştırması aşağıda gösteriliyor.
Chain of evidence and sources
Traefik sürümlerinde NTLM/Kerberos arka uç round tripper bileşeni ServersTransport ile anahtarlanmamış bir slotta saklanır.
Kimliği doğrulanmamış bir istemci, keep-alive bağlantısı üzerinden başka bir servisin sertifika doğrulamasını atlayabilir.
Show the technical text from the sources
Traefik 2.11.0 before 2.11.58 and 3.0.0 before 3.7.14 stores its NTLM/Kerberos backend round tripper in a client-connection slot not keyed by ServersTransport, so one service's TLS client configuration is reused for another service's backend. An unauthenticated client can arm the slot via a backend issuing an NTLM or Negotiate challenge, then reach another service on the same keep-alive connection, bypassing its root CAs, server name, and certificate verification.
