Short explanation
DokuWiki before version 2026-07-14c contains a PHP object injection vulnerability in Draft::getDraftText() that passes draft file contents to unserialize() without restricting allowed classes [S0]. Authenticated users with edit rights can race concurrent draft rewrites to splice serialized data [S0]. This vulnerability can lead to arbitrary file write, deletion, and code execution [S0].
It allows an authenticated attacker to execute code, write files, or delete files by abusing concurrent draft rewrites [S0]. This severely compromises the integrity and confidentiality of affected DokuWiki installations [S0].
What should be done?
- Update DokuWiki to version 2026-07-14c or a later version [S0]
- Follow the vendor advisory [S0]
