Short explanation

Vanus versions 0.8.0 through 0.9.0 contain a default credentials vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain cluster-admin access by using a hardcoded admin token.

Why does it matter?

Unauthenticated attackers can leverage the hardcoded token over the network to obtain full cluster administrator privileges and manage critical resources.

Vanus 0.8.0 ile 0.9.0 sürümleri, sabit kodlanmış yönetici token'ı nedeniyle kimlik doğrulaması gerektirmeyen küme yöneticisi erişimine izin verir.

Saldırganlar sabit Bearer token'ı gateway gRPC proxy portuna göndererek kaynakları yönetebilir.

Show the technical text from the sources

Vanus 0.8.0 through 0.9.0 contains a default credentials vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain cluster-admin access by using the hardcoded admin token. Attackers can send the fixed Bearer token to the gateway gRPC proxy port to manage namespaces, eventbuses, users, tokens, and role bindings, and read or publish events.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
