Short explanation

WebVella ERP through version 1.8.8 contains an SQL injection vulnerability via WHERE-clause text literals in the EQL query API, allowing authenticated users to read unauthorized entities.

Why does it matter?

An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending crafted literals to read unauthorized entities, including user and role tables, thus compromising sensitive data confidentiality.

What should be done?

  • Follow vendor advisories and updates
  • Sanitize inputs processed by the EQL query API
  • Restrict permissions for authenticated users

WebVella ERP 1.8.8 ve önceki sürümleri, EQL sorgu API'sinde kimliği doğrulanmış kullanıcıların SQL enjekte etmesine izin veren bir açık barındırır.

Saldırganlar POST /api/v3/en_US/eql adresine özel olarak hazırlanmış metinler göndererek kullanıcı ve rol tablolarını okuyabilir.

Show the technical text from the sources

WebVella ERP through 1.8.8 contains an sql injection vulnerability that allows any authenticated user to inject SQL through WHERE-clause text literals in the EQL query API. Attackers can send crafted single-quoted literals to POST /api/v3/en_US/eql, escaping the unsanitized EqlBuilder SQL interpolation to read unauthorized entities, including user and role tables.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
