Short explanation

B3log Solo through version 4.4.0 contains an authorization flaw in ArticleConsole that lets authenticated authors view other authors' drafts. By querying the article status endpoint, an attacker can list drafts, inspect content via the k parameter, and push others' articles to the Rhythm community. (S0, S1)

Why does it matter?

Unauthorized access leads to disclosure and malicious sharing of draft content, creating privacy and reputation risks. (S0)

What should be done?

  • Monitor the vendor advisory and apply the patch when released (S0)
  • Add author‑specific ownership checks in ArticleConsole (S0)
  • Review access controls to restrict endpoint usage to authorized users (S0)
  • Use firewalls and monitoring to detect suspicious access attempts (S0)

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.
