Short explanation
OpenHealth through version 0.2.0 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the /api/health-data/[id] route. Unauthenticated attackers who know a record id can read, overwrite, or delete medical record data.
This flaw allows unauthorized individuals to access, tamper with, or delete sensitive patient records and medical data, threatening data confidentiality and integrity.
What should be done?
- Follow vendor advisories
- Implement session and authorization checks on the /api/health-data/[id] route

Chain of evidence and sources
