Short explanation
The LearnPress WordPress LMS plugin up to version 4.4.10 is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the quantity and order_comments parameters. When guest checkout is enabled, attacks are fully unauthenticated; when disabled, Subscriber-level users can exploit the vectors through their own checkout.
This vulnerability allows attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. Whenever a user accesses an injected page, the scripts execute, which can lead to unauthorized actions and compromised user sessions.
What should be done?
- Follow vendor advisories and updates
- Update the plugin to a secure version
- Disable guest checkout if deemed necessary as a precaution

Show the technical text from the sources
The LearnPress – WordPress LMS Plugin for Create and Sell Online Courses plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'quantity (REST) / order_comments (checkout)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. With guest checkout enabled the attack is fully unauthenticated; with guest checkout disabled, any Subscriber-level user can exploit both vectors through their own checkout.
