Short explanation

The public consent endpoint of JTL-Shop accepts arbitrary consent names without validation and renders them without output encoding in the administration backend. This allows a remote attacker to execute scripts within an administrator session.

Why does it matter?

An unauthenticated remote attacker can execute malicious scripts within administrator browser sessions, enabling privileged actions and compromising the administration backend security.

What should be done?

  • Follow official vendor advisories
  • Validate inputs on the public consent endpoint
  • Restrict administrative backend access

Show the technical text from the sources

The public consent endpoint of JTL-Shop accepts arbitrary consent names from unauthenticated visitors without validating them against the configured consent items. These names are stored in the consent statistics and rendered without output encoding in the administration backend. An unauthenticated remote attacker can thereby inject script code that is executed in the browser session of an administrator viewing the consent statistics page, allowing actions to be performed with the administrator's privileges.

Patch and Remediation Guide

Solution & Remediation Advisory

Patch status unknown

İncelenen resmî kaynaklarda yama durumu doğrulanamadı. Bu sonuç “yama yok” anlamına gelmez.

Confirm the affected product and version against the source evidence above.
Restrict access to internet-facing services and apply network segmentation.
Until a patch is confirmed, follow the vendor advisory; do not read an unknown status as “no patch”.
Monitor server logs and network endpoints for signs of anomalous execution.

Public exploit and active exploitation status

Verified exploit intelligence

No verified public PoC, exploit repository or Metasploit module has been found for this CVE yet.
